Australorps are okay, but pretty boring in my opinion.

My Australorp is the sweetest thing. She raised four chicks this year and was an excellent mom.

I don't think there's such a thing as a silkied cochin, is there? Also, he doesn't look very silkied in person.

Well, you can all say whatever you want about Papaya, but he is the absolute sweetest little rooster ever and you can't get a better little guy than him.

He isn’t silkied. Though silkied cochins do exist.

Unfortunately there are. It's a crime against Cochins.

Okay must have been an odd pic. Here he looks frizzled. He's truly awful though. You should totally send him to me. That way you don't have to look at him.

I'm not a big fan of Buff as a colour either.

I like it out of loyalty to my birds.
But it gets a little boring after a while when you see nothing but Buff.

IMHO, Orpingtons are pretty much the equivalent of Labrador Retriever, and golden labs are in the top ten dog breeds almost every year, so I am not surprised that Buff Orpingtons are popular.
