I missed reading this thread for a few days.. and woah.. lots to catch up on!
I have found that my brooder reared babies have "killer" instincts from day one! I have my brooders in the garage and if I leave the window open at night the moths and a few other assorted fliers are attracted to the heat lamp - at which point the chicks become bloodthirsty little savages! I went out there at 10pm the other night to see what the ruckus was and they were having this massive brawl over a woodcutter beetle. It was both cute and hilarious to watch. They don't seem to show any fear of things out in the juvie pen - in fact I'd say their hunting instincts are rather savage lol.
I’d say they’re ready to take on hawks, eagles, ospreys etc...

ok
Dang your good... What are you like some sorta high powered chicken raisin lawyer or something?

My son actually did that once. He was 5. We visited some acquaintances from his old daycare that had a fancy estate and a drivable car for their 5-year old. Ours tried out the car and next thing I know I hear screaming. Of course it turns out he ran the other kid over. We still tease our son about it to this day... and he still refuses to learn to drive (age 25.)
