Everything I ever gave nutri-drench to, died. Sav-a-chick didn’t seem to have an affect. But that’s just my experience.

I'm in the opposite camp....Nutri-Drench has saved many of my pheasant and quail chicks.
My pet peeve is those that have the opinion that DE is a great wormer....DE is worthless!

I'm still on page one.. but take an awful lot of flack for MY very unpopular opinion that..

Selling Marek's vaccinated birds JUST proliferates and HIDES the disease.. The responsible choice.. IF BREEDING.. would be breeding for resistance to the disease.. via refusal to keep vaccinated birds and NOT offering vaccinating chicks.

Please understand folks, breeding for resistance doesn't come without heartache.. it's a personal choice that feels like the LESS heartbreaking of the two evil's.. stronger genetics or stranger big pharma.. I'm working with nature instead of against it. Change what I can.

I don't really think Silkie's look like toilet brushes.. but they DO smell like 'em once in a while and they are just about as smart. I don't hate Silky's.. but after breeding them for a few years.. they are NOT the best broody, SO sweet, or ANY of things they were touted for per say and many many chicken breeds are a far superior choice.. depending on one's goals.. including raising chicks! Fantastic fun adventure, yes. Good chicken, ehh. okay pet, if NOT excessively broody!

Unpopular indeed. Do you feel this way about the Flu Vaccine in humans, too? Just asking.

I don’t think it’s a great wormer, although the people I’ve met from there seem healthy...

but calling the whole state of Delaware “worthless” seems a little intolerant

I have an UNPOPULAR Opinion... Stop breeding chickens to other kinds of chickens just to see what you get. Then selling them as a rare breed or something they are not.

That did not happen to me!

Why not? People do it with dogs all the time and sell them for thousands of dollars. If you can get someone to buy them....
