I use ivermectin for dairy cattle. That way the hens can still nurse with no ill effects to the chicks.

Ivermectin is being used as a vaccine for Covid 19 in 3rd world countries. Has been used for years, also used as a dewormer in humans.

Ivermectin works fine but imo the frontline seems faster and simpler to spray the chickens. I use sevin dust too and don’t care if it’s no longer recommended for chickens.
What doesn’t seem worth the effort is permethrin. No way I’m screwing around for weeks on end over and over like some people on here.

I use a dropper and it only takes seconds to put it on, but in reality it’s been a couple years since I have needed it.
