UNPOPULAR OPINIONS! 🥴

@duluthralphie

There was ONE gene identified that DOES give genetic resistance..

Use more resources.. Or keep going with your otherwise popular choice/OPINION, it doesn't bother me. :)

Recognize that some of us ARE willing to put in the effort and time even if it's easier for big chicken and big pharma to be in bed together.. Hatcheries breed for ONE thing.. the bottom dollar.. NOT genetic improvement. Vaccinating is something any lay man can do. What you offered was common knowledge and not an epiphany that you want to call informed. ;)

But, thank you for demonstrating that indeed mine is NOT one of popular opinion and conforms VERY well to the thread headline. :highfive:

I've been there many times, I still don't see why the fuss is over the falls?...what falls? :D that and the fact, that it's 'smack dab' in the middle of tornado alley! Other than that, it's a fine town.
@007Sean with a comment like that straight after a comment on someone going to hell for another comment I thought you meant that you’ve been to hell! I’m dumb. 🤦‍♀️ 🤦‍♂️

Also not trying to sound rude, but I don't need any humor. I have plenty, just not applicable to what anyone on here is talking about

I think where a lot of arguments start on here relating to chickens health just comes down to personal experiences. The problems start when someone starts stating how DE treats worms or mites for example when in reality the person hasn’t had chickens over a year and assumes it works cause they haven’t seen any issues. They go on a posting campaign preaching the gospel everywhere they can.
Then we have the people with 5 chickens that have probably never dealt with half the issues they’re responding to which further muddies the water. You’d think someone was paying these people to be first to *help*.
I have maybe 50 breeders and twice thought I was done with chickenkeeping from outbreak of first roost mites then sticktight fleas. DE wood ash and frontline for cats to the rescue.
