Ha! My me-maw would ask me who the **** I was when I walked in the door with my mom. Then she’d go storming off down the hallway, all 4 ft of her grumbling the whole way.

So your Me Maw was a munchkin? How cool!

My Me Maw was a giant at least 8 foot tall and 600 pounds with flaming red hair. She was gruff and stingy and never gave me any candies She always told me those scrawny jungle birds were worthless for choring and providing. She raised her own breed, Massive Meadow Reds. They could clear fields and gobble up predators like you wouldn't believe, and when the SHTF they could even protect the homestead from the marauding gangs. Of course they didn't reproduce like those jungle birds you have, but she only had to shoot one every six months to keep the family fed. And when she needed something from in town, Uncle Johnny could ride in and fetch it for her.
