Whoops.I blame the texters.
Heard somewhere that if you put a period on the last sentence in a text it mean you're ticked off. Not a texter here but WTF!?

I text a lot and have never heard that. If I'm texting you, you will already know if I'm ticked off, putting a period in will not be your first clue!I blame the texters.

I've never heard of that
Yes very strange, heard it from two locals who text all the time....to clients and tenants. One had to make an actual phone call<gasp> to the tenant to clear it up.I text a lot and have never heard that.
Exactly! If I'm texting you, you will already know if I'm ticked off, putting a period in will not be your first clue!
This is a good one. Someone’s chicken is laying there hours from death and they want to argue about something not being approved for chickens or they want to break out 50 pages of studies and read through it all while the bird rolls over dead. Also when people ask for help and then argue with every suggestion you make!
To clear up that they were ticked or weren't ticked?
I always love the “it’s not approved” and “but you don’t know the long term effects of it”...This is a good one. I thought the answer to everything was 42I think the answer to that is Yes![]()
I agree. Half the people pushing the vet and state labs etc... have never done it themselves. They just repeat everything they’ve read.I always love the “it’s not approved” and “but you don’t know the long term effects of it”...
The bird has less than a week, most likely, why worry about 5 years down the line?
Then add to it the “take it to a vet” crowd.
However, I must admit I took a dead bird to a vet once, the state avian vet, to confirm I had Mareks in my flock. I watched the autopsy which was worth the $50 bucks it cost me. The vet taught me a lot...I say this so I don’t sound like a hypocrite when I say, I will never take a (single) sick bird to a vet.
