UNPOPULAR OPINIONS! 🥴

They actually all stayed in the tree. It fell on my propane tank which sounds bad but was kind of a soft landing. I checked to make sure none bailed out.

This reminds me of my brother this past summer.

First you have to know he really is not an idiot, he is a college professor in NC. But he likes dabbling in farm activities.

He raised bees. One hive swarmed on them. He was understandably P’O. But as luck would have it they were in a loblolly (is that the right name of the Southie pine?)

So he thought he would capture the runaways. He got his saw, no idea of the brand but guessing he is a Stihl owner based on what happened next.

He walked up to the tree and decided to get his bees back. Now this tree is on the property line. One row on his land the other on his neighbors. The trees are about 40 ft tall. The swarm was 30 ft up.

He saws the tree down and tries to find the swarm. He said he was amazed the tree hit the ground and no bees flew. He couldn’t find the swarm. He looked up in the other tree, his neighbors, and the bees were there.

They were swarming on a long branch from his neighbors tree that protruded beyond his tree..

Ehh, I still feel bad. I've fallen for prefab before.

Which one was you - failure to research or wishful thinking?
Just kidding ;)
There's nothing wrong with using a prefab for little chicks, broodies, just until you get your real coop built, or whatever.
What really gets to me is the people that have 10 adult chickens stuffed in one of those teeny tiny ensembles, who say "but the sign said it's for 8 to 12 chickens". Really? you can't see with your own two eyes that it's no where near enough room, you're just going to go by what the sign said? LOL

No Doughnut can compare to yummy fruitcake this time of the year..
I’ll see ya and raise you, Ralphie. Mine is THE yummiest!

Look at all those nuts! One entire quart of chopped pecans! Now it definitely doesn’t get any better than that!
