I'm sorry for getting back to you so late. Yep use the applesauce with the ingredients instead of the apples. I am trying to think I think it is 1cup of apples sauce for 2 apples. If I am wrong someone correct me please.
I usually don't measure it. I do the taste test. When it tastes right to me I continue with the cooking process.
You can also make Applesauce cake.
