Hallo,
Our 2 year old leghorns are laying big eggs (75grams +) almost daily. The problem is that the white and yolk are separating when I poach them, rather than forming a dense round. The yolk just floats free. Is this because they're getting old - the chooks I mean, - not the eggs! ? We also have 2 Isa browns and their eggs are fine. It's been a very hot summer (we're in Sydney). The eggs are fine otherwise.
Thanks for any help. Badgie
