I always wondered how testing before a sale works, how do you know that the birds in the cage for sale are the birds that were tested? Are the cages sealed by the tester and if so, how do you get feed and water in the cage?
Do you know what the cost of getting tested is at the show?

Hi
All the birds are tested as they come threw the door they are not allowed in inless they have been tested with proper paper work or are tested right there. It was .25 cents per bird last spring I can call doug to confirm it will be the same price this year. If you are from MN and live around Bemidji I would be happy to test your birds for you that you want to take to the show.

Hi!!! How are you?! What types of fun chickens do you have now?? Far more than the last time I visited!

The little Serama/Cochin boob-chick is SUCH an adorable little girl. She is Searama Shaped, and Cochin feathered, but not fluffy. She is pure white and oh so cute.

Katie

:O Katie!!!! How have you been? Ohhh I have a little of this and that, lots of serama cockerels again lol some things never change

. The silkie bug bit me hard at the last swap I went to now I have a quad, 3 whites and a blue. Hows your new place? Hows the boy? How are your chickens too? We gotta catch up woman! lol

I'd love to see the cochin/serama girl, glad she turned out to be a hen! Maybe it had to do with the incubation method LOL in that case I should fill mine up instead of letting the broodies handle it

Rachel,
The swap in Forest Lake is on Sept 12 Sat. morning at HOules parking lot. It starts as soon as the sun is up. Isanti is the same day but later so you could do both. The Stillwater swap at Houles is the following weekend (or it has always been that way before) I saw a flyer for the Forest lake swap at Houles store but haven't seen one for Stillwater. I plan on going to both of them. Hope to see you there.
Vicky

Thanks Vicky! You will see me there

This spring the houles swaps in both stillwater and forest lake were the same day It would be great if they were on different weekends. I plan on going to both if thats the case

Thanks again for the info

I am planning on bringing 3 seabright roosters to the Forest Lake SWap , 2 blue/splash silkie roosters (I think) and three mixed bantam roosters all around 11 weeks old. If they don't get all sold I will be making the drive up to Isanti swap to try and sell again.
