Upcycled Camper Shell Coop

Got an old camper shell for $10 bucks and couldn't figure what to do with it. This is the first little project completed. Finally getting my girls outside (wife is happy lol). Plan to add a run next and eventually add on another 4 feet of building. Egg box will go in the back where the glass door is. All the lumber and siding was scavenged scrap (my brother in law is a carpenter).

Has a little makeshift heater for the cool nights we are having .

Still a lot of work but nice to have a useable coop at the moment!

My chicks range from 6 weeks down to 3 weeks. Have 1 Dominique (6 weeks), 3 Easter Eggers (5 weeks), 1 blue Ameracauna (3-4 weeks), one black Ameracauna (3 weeks) and one Blue Isbar (3 weeks).

I live in an extremely windy area. Where I plan to put it permanently, the sloped side will face into the wind. Last week we had wind at 30-40mph sustained for 3 days with blasts over 65mph! Also wanted to he ahe able to stand annnnd that's the ampunaof lumber I had at the moment

Guess that makes sense, was wondering about water shedding vs leaks at that angle.
