I know she's less than three weeks old, but her markings are pretty clear. She's from Murray McMurray, and I got my order March 2.
I *believe* she is a she, but you more experienced people may have a different idea. I'm guessing Barred Rock since her barring is coming in pretty evenly, but, then again, the barring isnt coming in like I thought it would for a barred breed. Which could certainly change as she ages. They also are not
"exotic".
Then I was thinking maybe a Cuckoo Maran, but her legs do not look white to me and she, again, has pretty even barring, not cuckoo-ish.
What do you all think?

I believe I made a mistake and thought her comb was a single. It is now looking otherwise, perhaps the beginning of a rose comb? It looks pretty broad now, and maybe the ridges are less defined? But it still has similarities to the others'. I only ever had straight's, with the exception of three with pea combs. So maybe you can tell me better. She's seemingly atypical, regardless.
In addition to a change in her comb, her feather pattern has changed some. Referring back to MMc, is she/he a Dominique?!? She still does not look like other chicks her age that I've been able to find...but again, from a hatchery, so...
With the pinkening of her comb area, could be a Mister, as well. I'm pretty sure, actually.
