Update 5-18 eyePHOTO of nasty closed/ swollen- white peahens eye~ HELP

Yes...You need to go in right away. You may have waited to long.
You need to open that eye, so the puss can come out. Too much pressure for too long can blind the bird and also force infection else where. You don't want the eye sealed shut all the way EVER.
Either wet puss will come out, solid yellow disk like thing/things (solid Puss) or nothing...
What you do next depends on what happens and what you see. It could be something such as dirt got in there or it could be the eye got poked out.... Many things could be to blame
Optic Terramycin is always good to use. (I use it all the time on the farm on everything from kittens to my deer) After you have the eye open and get the puss out, I would flush it gently with lukewarm water, then put the Optic Terraycin on your finger and rub it on and in his eye gently...Like they said check the nasal passages
Also Becareful not to hold him around the Chest too tightly you can suffacate them easy...also try and be careful with his neck of course.
You can call if you need too (724)735-9924....It is sometimes easier to talk through things such as ways to hold the bird ect...
GOOD LUCK I'll Be Praying for you all... You can do it!!!... Let us know how it goes

, tylan 50 not as strong as tylan 200 so give here 4cc per day, after 3 days you should see a big improvement. WAIT to see if it goes down before cutting....most clear up....few leave a HARD seed LIKE BEHIND, THAT needs cut out.

I went out there..and snapped some photos the swelling to me has gone down..but oh my..I think her eyeball is missing..my friend is coming over at 6:30 so we can do some work on her..I did notice..it's not sealed shut anymore..but iam thinking..is that no eyeball???
Or is it looking better to you all?

Ayay
