I just hatched two in a cheap incubator too, lol. I think the other 4 may have not made it though. At least we have two so they have a buddy!

Newest babe is about an hour and a half old and can't seem to get her legs under her. Are they splayed, or is it too soon to tell? The first two strengthened up quite a bit faster than her.

The dark babies definitely have some Cochin in them! (Got the eggs from the lady I bought the incubators from, so they were a mystery to me). The chipmunk is offspring of my Ameraucana roo, but I'm not sure who his mama is.

I tried one once because my regular incubator was full. 1 hatched and died.

Too soon to tell. Most of ours weren't steady on their feet till the day after hatching.

Number 4 is on her way out! The rest haven't pipped yet. Honestly, this Covid "quarantine" probably helped a lot.

Uggh it's RIDICULOUS!! I was up most of the night with them - I'm more tired than ever, and I've birthed 5 children in the last 10 years!! (If I had a better incubator I wouldn't have had to stay awake, but these guys need out IMMEDIATELY).
