does yours smell? or do you already know whats wrong w/ her? I'm so very sorry to hear that about yours.

I had a buff orp that did exactly this LOOKED just like this and what had happened (if I hadn't witnessed it I prob would have culled her thinking she was sick too) but one of the big birds jumped off the roost on top of her head and I think it sprained it or something. I gave her vitamins/electrolytes and she got better in two weeks. I moved her back in with the crew and she was perfect again. THEN two weeks later a dog got her and she was killed

SOO sad. But she was totally fine after the vitamins

i did the vitamins too and nothing. i was giving her vitamin E gelcaps. but i honestly think it's coryza. she sure smells bad. but both her eyes are opened. just her neck is twisted and that she smells real baaaaaaaaaad.

Robin'sBrood :

No, mine doesn't smell (well, her poops sure smelled awful yesterday after I fed her raw garlic, and I'm sure her breath did too.

Do you think it's time to call the vet? You've tried everything. Keep us posted and our prayers are with you and your girl.

Well, just incase it is wry neck you could try injecting 0.1 cc of vit b12 into her breast.... last resort i guess. I don't know about the smell though.
A few have tried b12 injections to treat wry neck and it really, and quickly has helped.
Just go to your drugstore, buy 1 cc diabetic syringes, a vial of B12 (should be no prescription needed)
Pull back the feathers, clean with alcohol, put needle in just a tiny bit.
Search this site for more details on injections.

UPDATE:

she is now standing up n her own and the smell has dropped down tremendously!!!! her neck is still twisted to the side but not as bad. I have been treating her w/ baytril half a
cc and crop feeding her with kaytee she is totally a different bird!!! if she keeps improving like this every day it will not be long before she is fully recovered. unless this is the calm before the storm.
