!UPDATE! hens scratching saddle?!!

Hello everyone, my 2 saddles just arrived today and I tried it first on my EE (easter egger) and she seemed to feel pretty uncomfortable at first. She kept on itching the elastic straps around her wing for like 5-6 minutes, but now she is currently not scratching that much anymore and I THINK she is feeling more comfortable??!! I put on the 2nd saddle to my leghorn and she had the same reaction but felt more comfortable quicker. They are both still itching the elastic straps but more less (about 70% less) than when I first put on the saddle for them. They both seem like they love to put their wing under the saddle rather than on top of it (which is strange to me).

Have any of you experience the same thing as me when putting on a saddle for your chicken(s)? 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗳 𝗜'𝗺 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘁!

UPDATE: THEY ARE USED TO IT NOW!!

ETA: make sure they don't get their feet tangled in the elastics while scratching.

Hello aart, the cockbird feels totally fine with it, whenever he tries to mate he actually can't seem like to grip onto their wings so he slips off sometimes! The hens actually scratch at it with their beaks like how they clean their feathers.
