I'd buy them from her for a reasoable price. I'd give her more than $1. The condition would be that she take care of them until you can complete the new home. You would need to purchase the feed and pay for any other expenses for their care until you can pick them up.

Well, I'm waiting to hear back from her. I lost her number so I sent her an e-mail through craigslist. I tried to get ahold of her awhile back and nothing. So lets see what she has to say.

well I think I am taking what ever she has left. I have to call her and see. She said she has 2 hens for sure. Also they didnt have a duck house. They dont have any really shelter that I am aware of.
