My most overcooked one will turn 16 on Feb. 19. His due date was Feb. 5, my brother's birthday. Since I was so overdue I was scheduled for an induction at 7:00 on the morning of Feb. 19 but I went into labor on my own, thank God, in the evening of the 18th and he was born at 2:10 in the morning.

I had had some preterm labor with him in Dec. so I thought there would be no way that I would go overdue with him. Little did I know that he was going to be hard to deal with even before birth.

I'm just kidding, he's a good kid and I

I was 2 weeks overdue with my 2nd son and worked almost the whole time. I would go into work and hear that from my co-workers EVERY DAY. I wanted to say some really smart donkey things back to them like, "Well, I had him last night but I really wanted to come to work and see you so I had my DH shove him back up inside me." Of course I hadn't had that baby yet!

I don't know why people do that. All of mine were overdue and people are commenting that this one will be early. Er...no...my babies need to cook longer for some reason! I've gone over every time, 5 days, 13 days, 8 days and 14 days. And the comments! OY! I remember with the 13 day over, I went to "church" and someone said "You're still here?!" I said "No, I am just a figment of your imagination.", walked back out and went home. I was much too hormonal and grumpy to stay there and hear commentslike that!
