No water DIDNT break yet !!! I answered the question about when the doc said to call... My answer was contractions 3-5 min or my water broke. Sorry if I didnt word it right

I'm just saying, those last few contractions when you go from 7-8cm to fully dialated hit you like a ton of bricks and goes REALLY fast.

Grab your hospital bag, sucker punch DH in his kidney, tell him it's time to go and get in the car.

My DH was so frazzled when I woke him up saying we needed to get to the hospital with my first born, he got us lost in the hospital on the wrong floor in the wrong wing and nearly had a panic attack in the elevator.

My water only broke "normally" with my first baby. With my 2nd and 3rd the doctors had to break it. And with my 4th, it broke while I was pushing her out. Everybody is different and every labor is different, so your contractions may or may not get 3-5 minutes apart, and your water may not break... those are simply guidelines... trust your instincts and if you feel like you need to go, go.
