Sorry guys its been so long, just had hubby bring me my lap top !!

So heres what happend.... Went in around 1am on Monday when I got there I was about 5cm they told me to wak the halls for a little while so the could re check me... Well when I got back I was 7cm, at this time I asked for a little pain relive. By this time it was 6am and the doc decided it was time to break my water and see what happend from there (I really had some great contractions, they really wernt that painful) so doc broke my water and rechecked me 1 hour later.... Nothing had changed so the doc said they were going tostart Patosin(sp?) (that stuff sucks!!!!!!!) another hour or so went by and the doc check me again I was 8 now. he didnt think I was dialiting fast enough so they up'd the patosin (docs and nurses love that suff)
at this point the doc was alrealy talking about mabye needing a c-section b/c I had been in labor now for 12 hours now with little progress after 7cm, anyway I made it to 10 cm with hard contractions about 2 hours later. Pushed for about 4 hours (with no drugs) In till the docs decided they was no way baby was coming out that way he had starting coming down crocked and his head was not coming down right , guess that explianes all my back labor (nice to know after 4 hours)

So yes after 25 hours of laboring, I ended up needing to have a c-section...... At 3:40 PM Aiden Ryan Collins was born weighing 6.11 and 21 inches.

Everything was going fine for a day or 2 and then I got really sick one min I would get the chills with a temp of 104 and 15 min later I would be sweating so bad, after testing it showed up that I had an infection somewhere and that why I was having these odd epasodes !!! but man does it suck to be sick after all that happend. Then the day next Aiden was showing signs of respatory problems so they had to call the docs in to look at him, since he was sick they had to keep him in the nursey to treat and keep and eye on him..... Very depressing when they take your baby away after all the work you did.

So as of today, my white blood cells are looking much better and I feel a little better also, Aiden is stable and doing GREAT right now they are taking him off all the test things and he will be coming back to stay with us now (still has an IV till later this after noon) !!! And we just got the news that we should be able to go home Monday (unless I start having fevers again) I'm so excited I cant belive ive been here this long.

So its been a long long ride but worth it, He is a wonderful little baby !!!

Sorry for all the typo's they still have me on a lot of pain stuff.

Going to upload some photos now so I can post the soon (going to take a little while)

Again, thanks guys for all your help, and all the time you spend with me

Yay! Congrats! Labor never goes the way you expect it to (or at least mine didn't). I'm glad you both got through it and are ready to start caring for that new little life!

Congrats!
