Get to posting on craigslist and look on there everyday for what you need. It's not really a matter of if someone will have what you need, but a matter of when.

I just got settled in to check email and post the updates for the day. Coop was over 200lbs and ended up taking 2 teenage boys and 2 large trucker men to move it into an open 5x8 trailer from Tates Rents. By the way, if you need to move something quick in an open trailer they have good prices. It was only $21 including tax for the 4 hours we had it and we didn't have to clean it or anything, they took care of that.

We did end up having to use a tow strap to get it out of the trailer by pulling it with my friend's Yukon. We only had the 2 teenage boys. I have to go back tomorrow to pick up the brooder pen because it just wouldn't fit in with everything else and we didn't have another rope.

It was too dark to post pictures by the time all the work was done today. I'm beat. I will take pictures tomorrow though. I'm going out to sand the old paint down and make minor repairs. oh and clean out the free poop.

Yup, I don't want nobody else's germs on my babies! I've washed it all out after scooping the poop. I didn't get a chance to sand and paint before I brought home the Jersey Giant pullets today and they really needed to go out in it tonight. I put out the food and water and closed them all up in it. It broke my heart to put them outside, I wish I had a place to bring them in too. Oh well tomorrow they will have a run built and their coop painted, and beautiful flooring.

I will take pictures of the coop tomorrow before I do any modifications to it. It needs a bit of fixing up in places where the wood has swollen up from weathering. No big deal. Got enough wood to repair it. Going to make the nesting boxes sit externally as well to give more interior room. Probably going to make it a bit longer too since I ended up screwing up math counting new chicks today.... sigh. Why didn't I get bantams. Why did I get, not only standards, but HUGE standards?
