Update: OMGosh I was given a coop

So my free coop cost me roughly $80 to relocate. Now I have run materials. I think I'm up to $300ish. Pics coming from my laptop later when kiddo comes home.

**chuckle**** "When kiddo comes home" -- these kids know how to do all of this computer stuff. Am excited for you up there in Boise. I've met so many nice people through my chicken ventures.....and my Craigs List ventures, too.

First off, let me start by saying I didn't need a coop. Nope, just a series of boxes in the pasture would work.

Much like this unassuming box. It doesn't pretend to be a coop or useful in anyway

Here is the coop open. Need to sand paint, and perform minor repairs

The Jersey Girls hanging out on the nesting shelf. There were nest boxes on it. I'm changing that though.

This is a wider angle. My cute 2 story oddly colored concrete house with metal roof is there. That is my smaller fenced yard. The coop is in my pasture.

That is the materials for the run. As you can see I have a few 6'x4' frames made of 2"x4"s so far.

Very large doghouse donated to me dismantled by my brother.

Jersey Girls. I surprised them through the nest area's access door. They were indeed surprised.

I painted the coop and put in a new door that opens to the run. The wire is up on half the run too. I need to finish putting up fencing and put a new roof on the coop. I need to take pics too!
