Well, they removed chest tube today, again. We're still on IV Lasix, plus an oral Lasix called Zeroxolyn, and another that begin with an A, that is new and I can't remember the name.
He walked about 5 laps around the unit here, which is pretty significant, since he's not really done anything but lay around since he had the surgery July 8th.
So, we could possibly be out as soon as Tuesday, they have to start lowering the Lasix dose and keep taking x-rays to make sure there isn't another effusion starting.
I really hope this is it. I would hate like Hell to have to get another chest tube punched in to my Little Man.
My husband is coming down after work to let me get a quick night at home. I need to get some clothes washed and get a decent shower and shave my legs!!!
Anyway, we're moving along, he's eating well. I'm crossing my fingers and everything else that can be crossed that this is the end and we'll be home soon!
