Congratulations! I know exactely how you feel. I was burned out from being a nurse. I love helping people, but I was tired of watching them sick and sometimes pass away. It seemed like every day another little piece of me got chipped away. I knew I had to make a change. Since I started my candle business I've never been happier. I can't believe that people buy what I make. It just blows me away. Who knew dancing around in your kitchen listening to music while making a living could be so much fun. Yes I said it.....FUN! Granted things are a little tight right now, but I'm finding ways to make a little extra money doing other things to get by until I get this new business established. My hubby has been great and my kids crack me up. My youngest who is 12 couldn't see my candles I made because she said it looked just like the ones you buy at the store. I think that was a compliment

I'm glad your soap business is doing well and that's wonderful news about another outlet or market for your products. Keep up the great work.

Congratulations!!!

I know you are excited. DH may have to make you more molds again, so you can make 150 bars at a time!!!

Before you know it, you'll have to have some help.

Congratulations! I remember how elated I was when I was starting a wholesale bakery and a renowned Italian restaurant (in Seattle) placed an order for cheesecakes--my very first order. Unfortuantely for me, that's just before our economy took a nosedive and the Cheesecake Factory was coming to town! Anyway, that's great that you can make a living doing what you enjoy. It certainly takes a lot of drive to get your own business off the ground.

Big congrats Trisha! You are one of the few small business sucess stories! I have been browsing your site and plan to order some of your soaps soon-and definitely for Christmas! I have some family members who would love them too. I also read the whole process of how the soap is made in one of your posts-very interesting! Keep up the good work, and keep writing-I find your posts to be both entertaining and educational-Thanks and good luck!
