yea i know, i got 1 more last night and when i woke up this morning i took the 8 i already had out ot he brooder then by the time i got back like 5 mins later i had another chick so i am up to 10 now yay or is it nine lol ill have to recount, but i do have some sad news tho i had a egg that had a pip in it yesterday so i though it was going to hatch but i woke up to tje other chicks pecking at the pip so im not sure if it was the chick inside the egg or the chocks out side the egg that made it but the chick inside the egg has no movement to it

I've been keepin up with this post but I've noticed it seems like its been 4 or more days that these eggs have been hatchin. Was they set at different times?? Most of mine when they start hatching there all done by 24hrs...

yes they were all set at the same time and today was suppose to be the hatch date/ day 21 but i do not know what is going on, but this is a learning experience for me as this is my very first time trying this out so atleast i got more then 1 chick and thanks for following the story

yes i do have more that are pipping but i will see what happens now as i took all the rowdy lil fuzzy butts out besides the 2 that are drying off so i will see if i can get more with out the eggs being tossed around, can the chicks hitting the eggs kill the chicks inside?

I've heard people say that the eggs getting moved around by the hatched chic's causes problems then I've heard people say it helps the unhatched ones get a move on starting to hatch ...so I'm confused on that one too.

well i just took it out and used a tooth pick to move around part of the dead (white) membrain and you could see the beek was sticking out but there was no movement i have lost my first chic

yea i know but i have 11 chicks now so we will see how many i end up with i do have another pipping/zipping a si am writing this so we will see how man y i end up with
