Some bad news for my followers we had a bad thunder storm here last night and it knocked out the phonelines (luckly not the electricity). But I have no way of uploading all the pics, I am writing all this from my iPhone as it is the only Internet I got but now for the good news I have 4 chicks in the gator my nice dark green we egg finally hatched and I checked my chics in the brooder they all made it their first note out there YaY , but now for the weird news and question the egg that has been popped for like 2 days now has stuff oozing from it could it be the chick popped inside?

I have my first two pips!!!! They are both Wyandotte eggs. I am so excited. They are at day 20 tonight.

I have 22 11 day old chicks!!! They love and I mean LOVE to poop everywhere!!!! I have gone though ant least 6 FULL ROLES of PAPER TOWELS!!!!!!

I have my first ever chick!!

It is a silver penciled wyandotte. Healthy little cutie, cheeping away. Just hatched. The second one is still working around the shell. Hasn't gotten far but then neither had this one the last time I looked.

I think my hatch is over cuz my hygrometer was reading 71 but there was no water in bator so I think I dried all my eggs out I feel bad but now I know for next time I had one chick I had to rescue a chick out of a dry egg but there is still shell and membrain stuck to it so I do not know if it is going to survive or not but I still do not have a phone service so no Internet still but when I get to work tomorrow I will post picks as up to date ones as I can
