Oven rack, peace of chicken wire or something similar in to bottom so when you move it they all roll?

yes very colorful from many breeds, 35 36 and 37 are not speckled but are duck eggs (i know they take longer approx 30 days) they were laid in the mud so since there was so much mud on them i tried getting as much off as i could without actually rubbing oils off of egg so i opted out to just try to hactch dirty ones so we will see what happens, and my eggs were set yesterday so counting from today they will be due on feb 10

I'm glad you know those are duck eggs...lol. I thought man those look like duck eggs. They do take longer and they take a higher humidity as well. I use to spritz duck eggs several times daily with water while incubating to keep the humidity level up.

I've done a full batch like that before. Like someone else said just lift the lid and stick your hand in and give them a swirl type roll. As ppl we tend to over-think things and I've watched my hens they don't fret over eggs nearly as much as I do when I incubate them. Guess that is cuz they are professional...lol

i sure will keep you guys updated on this, but as things have been going i messed up from the beggiing with dirty eggs i could clean, probably setting too many , and they way featheres acres said it i usd sharpie to mark eggs even tho i used little numbers, so im just hopin fr atlst 1 buti doubt it, well in a couple days i will candle to see if i can do anything write (including cadleing itself lol) this is a big learning experiance you got to start and learn somewhere right and thanks every1 for wishing me luck i learn new things everyday to try to make this succeful thanks forall your wishes again THANKS

Please don't give up hope yet

, you just put them in. And there are a lot of little errors that get overlooked in nature and those still make it. Not all eggs in nature stay clean from start to hatch, right? If that was a MUST BE there wouldn't be anything left alive on the planet. Not even us

. I don't know, but have there been tests giving the results of effects of Sharpie ink on eggs yet? I will keep

Don't be disinheartened a hen's nest is far from sanitary.

Hatching is a learning experience and not an exact science. Give it your best shot and next time you will know what you prefer to change to work better for you.

We all have different ideas on incubating, brooding, raising etc.... So no matter what you do there will always be someone to say hey you shouldn't do that......
