Most of my maran eggs are dark like that, but I have 2 that I can see light coming out lower down. I am assuming that those are probably not fertile or early embryo death, but I'm leaving them in the incubator just in case.

mine are due sunday too but its gonna stink for me as i will not be home saturday as i am going to the snow all day so i just might miss my very virst own icubated egg hatch ever

but sunday i will be home hopefully to see them hatch but then the first half of monday i will be home but the second half i am going to wwe wrestling event here so i wont be home then eathier so i hope i get most fo them hatch on sunday

Oh no, I hope you don't miss it. Maybe they will be early.
Mine are due next Tuesday and honestly, if they grow much more I don't know how they will last because they are almost filling the eggs now.
Am I imagining things or are the eggs heavier all of a sudden??
I only have one of my Salmon Favorolle eggs developing out of 15 so I am very disappointed in those, the other 14 weren't fertile, but this morning I saw the little guy move so he is definitely in there. I so hope he hatches with no problems.
The others are silver laced wyandottes, dk brahmas and some mixed bantams.

if u were closer i would trade you for some of your silver laced i hope i have atleast one in my batch, i hope they are not early but who knows day 21 is sunday but that is counting from the day after i set as that is what was suggested for me to do, dont count the day they are set start the day after

Yeah, I set mine in the evening because they showed up here in the mail about noon so mine are technically due a week from tomorrow.
