I went outside to put the hens feeder in their coop then I saw one of my hens that was not moving as much as the other so I opened the door for them to get out and I saw she had a ball in her crop area it wasn’t hard it felt soft and I picked her up and she vomited like light green and her beak smelled weird so I separated her and took her in. What should I give her and what should I not give her.

Right now I gave her a bit of water and massaged her crop and I think she may be a little sleepy

Oh she hasn’t ate anything yet unlike the other flock members but she likes water I put some in a bottle cap and she reached to drink it

Sometimes she act like she is gonna vomit moving her head front to back but then she stops and she look a little sleepy closing her eyes her tail is down which her tail always points up and she is lethargic.

You need to hold her with her head pointed down and massage her crop. Get the fluid out of her crop. If you don’t she could drown in the fluid. You may have to repeat the process several times over several days. Just keep an eye on her.

Ok right now she’s inside laying down she’s a bit sleepy or should I make her be standing up. Sometimes she wants to vomit but she doesn’t. can she drink water?
