*Update with solution* Can mites cause eye problems?

Feed and pet stores should have Terramycin eye ointment. Maybe you can even get it at a drug store. Helps with most eye problems and is good to have in your house. Good luck with her.......Pop

We cleaned out the coop and dusted with DE plus lightly with Sevin. Dusted the broodies with Sevin and a few of the hens I could catch.

The eye problem - I did a search online and found that others had used neosporin. I applied neosporin twice a day for 3 days and then once a day after that. Her eyes are completely uncrusted. One eye look normal and the other is returning slowly. It doesn't not look 100% but it is open and not crusty or oozy any more. She looks SO much better. We gave her a bath and blow dryed her. I had to cut off come of the fluffy feathers around her eye because they were so matted even after the bath.

I just wanted to post this for the future if anyone is trying to find a solution.
