UPdated! I finally have a REAL PIP!! Not imagined!! No mistake!! PG 6

I have been going nuts here, no pips yet, and I was worried that something was wrong, so my husband bought me an LED flashlight today from Lowes. I was going nuts, especially since EmmyLou has Fort Knox eggs and you can't see in them.

I candled 4 eggs. 1 of EmmyLous and 3 of Elivis'. Well, one of Elvis' eggs is a chick dead in the shell. I didn't have the heart to take it out yet. It obviously died several days ago. There are no veins at all, but I could see chick feathers sticking up

Another one was clear, like it never developed.

Both the third egg and Emmylou's egg had veins and moving chick!!

So I know there is atleast TWO chicks that are alive and should be hatching anytime!!

I am still waiting too....I am to chicken (no pun intended) to candle. Think I am better off just waiting at this point....not much I can do about it either way.

I just hope I didn't hurt them by candling againg.

I did it quick, and put them back under testy mama and beat it out of the pen in a hurry before I got bit again!!
