Nothing! not a single baby yet...

I told my husband maybe I imagined that pip yesterday? I sure hope not. I mean, I didn't pick up the egg and look, it just looked like a pip when I looked in. ARGH!

We aren't going to be home the entire day. We are going to my parents here in a bit to work on their truck.

Maybe someone will be hatched or hatching when we come back?

LOL well, I was in bed when you posted that. I did get a picture of Henny rather flared up at me this morning for peeking in at her. I might post that later.

Right this moment it is 7:19am here, and still pitch dark. 26°F and looking/feeling like snow.

Just went out to give everyone a mid-day snack and fresh water...she was off the nest, but no baby yet! Course, I only got a split second peek because as soon as she realized I was peeking at her nest she shot back on it like a bullet!!!

Well I was wrong, there were NO PIPS. We were gone all day today, and I checked on mama chicken when we got home. NO babies, no pips.

I am guessing I had my days wrong? So my first date of Oct 9 is probably right, so I guess this means I am just now on day 19

Can't believe I goofed like that!
