If it makes you feel any better, this is a very old thread of mine featuring a 7-week-old BCM who ended up a pullet. By comparison, she was nearly identical.

Yes that does make me feel much better! Do I continue to look for darkening on the shoulders of #1 to tell what he or she is? I haven't noticed any wattle development on that one

3 and 4 are girls, one and two are cockerels.

I was reading more about the breed of #1 apparently its a hybrid only at this farm. Their site says the roosters will get black and gold around their neck. At what age do chickens have their coloring?

#1 breed as a rooster ^^

Just from the pictures above #1s comb is definitely looking more like the rooster as it's kind of got a double prong thing going on

#2 is a definite male. I'm also thinking #1 is also, given comb size and what appears to be the beginning of darker plumage in the shoulder. The rest aren't screaming cockerel for the present.

#1 and #2 are cockerels. #3 and #4 are pullets.
