I'd say they are both blue, but each has something else going on as well. #6 is a better colour, but it almsot looks like there may be a bit of barring? Or possibly an almost reverse splash? I do like the colour.
#8 seems to have specks of white? Could be the protective shafts that cover new feathers shedding, or it could be something else. Can you take a really close up with just the wing (put your camera on a macro setting)?

actually I guess it is barred after a closer inspection it is just more noticable on the bow tie part
