Hello all, I believe this is my first post! I purchased a second hand chicken run. These are amazing greenhouse-like structures that can be found on Chicken Safe (no affiliation). This first pic is a large overhead view. My question is, what is the best (secure) way to fasten the front and back sections of the welded wire mesh to the top? I have some experience fastening mesh to a wooden structure, but I want to make sure I get this right. On the sides, it was easy, dug down a trench, pulled it tight and hammered it with cable staples into the foundation boards. I will be fastening the mesh together with J-clips. For the front and back, I have left about 5-6 inches of mesh overhanging (2nd and 3rd pic). Do I just snip the hard corners fold it over and do the same J-clip fasteners and pull it down to the foundation boards? Has someone done a similar thing and gotten good results.
I am hoping someone has similar experience. Trying to get this as tight as possible.

Had never heard of that stuff. I got some of the looped rebar ties on the way along with one of those automatic rebar tiers.
It seems I can hammer the wire mesh to the wooden foundation using cable staples, then pull up and use the rebar ties to tighten it down real good.
