Or switch to horizontal nipplesAlso I’d put a platform of some type under the water bucket , it’s all wet there and not good for them to stand in that , even bricks for them to stand on work well .
Where in this world are you located?I don't know where you're located since it isn't in your profile
Updated my profile! I’m in Ohio.I don't know where you're located since it isn't in your profile, but there's several things I'd do differently. I'd remove the hanging waterer in the coop and put it in the run. I'd remove the feeders in the coop and put them in the run. Not sure how many chickens you have (I counted 7 in your first pic), but I'd remove 3 nest boxes and put a slanted cover over the remaining 3 so chickens don't roost on them. I didn't see a roost in the coop. If there isn't one, I'd put one up. I'd also put some bedding on the floor of the coop.
I updated thanks!Where in this world are you located?
Climate is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, then it's always there!

Oh, and, Welcome to BYC!!!
Putting food and water in or out is a personal choice . I keep both in the coop because outside wild birds eat / poop everything and my water stays cleaner in my sand floor.
To each their own
But they do need a roost ![]()
