The only suggestion that I have is to try a different compression ratio when you are saving it before the upload.

When I get one that for some unknown reason does not want to upload, I change the compression ratio and then it will upload fine.
 
I think it's the gravitational attraction to Neowise sucking the pixels out into space... it's the only thing that makes sense to me. I am on satellite internet living out in the woods on a dead end dirt road off of a dirt road.

When I cut the quality down to 50% it goes straight to 100% then sits there for a minute before finally uploading so maybe a time out issue or not enough space dunno. I still think it's the comet.

When I am trying to upload a picture in a known not good wifi spot in my house the same thing happens as you mentioned.
 
Thanks @jthornton for the heads up.

I will tongue-n-cheek agree with you about the comets involvement. After all it started to show up a month or so ago inbound to the sun.

Not long after that, I too started to "outta the blue" have issue with pics failing to upload via my phone (primarily) using Android and Firefox. Always up to date as well.

I also had a long standing personal ethos of making my pics 800x600 for the longest time.... For all forums, and social media stuff.

I admit a little over 18+ months ago I started to try straight upload from my phone.... I would still use the crop feature for many pics from my phone or the desktop PC's (Win-X or my Linux boxes that I rarely get to play with any more).

The wierdness really ramped up the last few weeks when I would get the same as listed earlier in this thread:
Upload to 93-100% then it would dilly-dally for anywhere from ~10 seconds to a couple minutes before the page would have the box refresh and go "gray with a strike through" and a "cancel" button as the only option for that picture.

Several times I would give up and just click "send" on the update only to have the browser show a pop-up window with the text paraphrased = " pictures are still uploading you can't post yet."

I tried a few things like closing all my tabs.
No change.

I even did a close the browser and cold reboot the phone.

Then one time it happened on the desktop. Only once. I went in and "kill task" and did a full reboot of the desktop and it has yet to happen since there.

However, it's happened several more times on this phone.

Specifically on the 2 threads I have for a) our coop build & b) our silkies tagteam hatching a clutch of eggs.

So I guess I'll look at my phones camera settings to see if I can tweak the pixel default settings for saving.....

Or I guess I'll just have to plug the USB cord into the PC from this phone and straight download them to shrink the pics in the desktop at a much more excelerated rate???
