Solved Uploading picture app crash

New problem for me started a week or two ago. When I try to upload a picture from my album on my phone the app crashes and shuts down. I can reopen the app and it works fine until I try to upload another picture and it will crash again. I can upload pictures with my album already on BYC just not new pictures. It will let me upload it but it may take several attempts. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app allowed the app to access my album and it made no difference. I'm not sure if it's my phone or app. Any one else having the same problem?

What operating system is on your phone? What exact version?

It's android. 7.1.1 phone is a Sony Z5.

Make sure there are no new software updates for your phone available.

I've just checked. It's up to date. Sony won't release the update for Android 8.0 for the z range. But that was last year. Thing is its been fine then all of a sudden this starts. And my pc is fried so at the moment this is all I got!

Could you also try the same steps / process on your phone using your mobile browser (like Chrome or Firefox)? That will help us identify if it's only limited to the app.
