Here it is at 9 am right after first Baytril injection:

Here he is 8 hours later. Note that I have not wiped his face.







28 hours later - still some swelling that is hard to see in pictures and some clear drainage from nostril. Up five grams, which is not enough, but it's better than a loss.




Chick was 100% after just two shots, but gave two more per the recommendation of a vet.

Dang I knew that about doxy but not baytril. I'll keep him away from it.

He's crowing again today and his face is no longer swollen up.

He is crowing even more today and his nose is less runny. His face is totally back to normal size as far as swelling and he's only coughed like twice today that I've heard, although he still gurgles in his nose if you listen closely.

So great news. He's definitely recovering!
