It was brrr chilly cold here this morning. Poor chickens didn't want to come out of the coop!

gorgeous here this am! supposed to be a cooler yet nice week-70's! Im off from work today cleaning up wood from all Summer chopping and splitting-have to Get Gretchens prime spot set up:) and all the other camper spots-still building my pens to get them ready too-this way they will not be outside when the event happens:)

Im going to have driveways blocked off ( I have 3) everyone will have to park along the streets like at Stephs's or else the only turn around spots are in the middle of the event:-( Dont worry there are ALOT of side roads to park-campers only on the property-pm me if needed to park on property Ill make a driveway available for those who are bringing birds. Trust me when I say its a 2 second walk down my driveways to the action:) I will have a sign pointing towards my house and mylar balloons marking the driveways and of course the big BYC sign:) At peak time I need to take some photos to send to the companies who donated-this way we can get as many people as possible in the photo-when they aee how many people were here they cant help but not contribute for the next one:)

Great! Much better camping in COLD. You can always dress for cold, but I can't take enough clothes off in the heat to be comfortable without horrifying somebody.

Nat - John is a great salesman when it comes to events like this. We always have him selling yearbooks, catalogs and tshirts at the AmStaff Nationals. If you need to have somebody man the Tshirt table or something like that, he would be happy to have a job.

Also-don't forget to put me down for about 10 lbs of meatballs, probably 2 bundt-type cakes and at least 5 doz cookies, or so. I specialize in decadent frostings and can't really figure out how to transport a tall frosted cake for days in the car without significant harm. I'm wondering if I can pack frosting in tupperware and wrapped cake layers in the cooler and still have it usable when I get there. Might be an interesting experiment.

You had me at decadent frostings! Mmmm. Are we looking to make MORE sweets for everyone? If you can't find me at the swap, I'll be at the dessert table! Cookies are my specialty, so if we need more, I'll make a few batches of double chocolate chip cookies, or mint choc. chip.

Brindle this is not meant to sound stupid, but do you need me to bring you fleece jackets and things? You're not exactly as equipped for the weather up here as we are...

Everyone I also have an outstanding white heterozygous showgirl cock (with the exception of his red comb). He has excellent body type, feathering, toes, etc. $10 PM me if you'd like him.

Both of these pics were taken yesterday. The showgirl is just coming into full feather now, but isn't quite there yet.

THANKS!
