Hi everyone!. I was cleaning out the Brooder today and noticed a little bit of blood in my babies poop. All of them are acting fine. I checked all of their vents and there’s no prolapse. They are all almost 5 weeks old. Four of them are bantams and one is an Americana. They aren’t showing any symptoms of cocci and the stool doesn’t look at normal to me other than the small trace of blood. What do you all think?

Looks like intestinal lining.. commonly shed in growing birds and not of concern. Also not coccidiosis.. when that does present as blood, it's very watery and covering the major portion of the dropping like a bad injury.

Since you describe all as normal behavior.. no wings drooping, now standing around puffed up with head pulled in and eyes closed, all eating and drinking, etc.. Good looking out and catching the little stuff, early intervention is key to recovery for many things in poultry! :thumbsup
