I cannot express the amount of worry I had this morning! Woke up to a absoloute shock!

My perfectly healthy week old chick was laying beneath her mother unable to move!

I quickly blamed myself, carrying her over to the water and giving her a sip. She fell into the water unable to stand and began coughing?

Right now she's in a blanket, not moving what soever laying on her side. She breathing and her eyes are shut tight! She'll occasionally stretch her neck out and open her mouth wide but that's all.

Is there anything I can do? Anything at all?

Probably nothing at this point since the chick is unable to take anything orally. Everything I can advise depends on the chick being conscious.

Chicks can get constipated very easily at this age, and they decline rapidly unless we are very alert and notice early enough to intervene with oil treatment.

That's but one possibility. Your chick may have been injured or has internal genetic problems. I'm sorry, but you need to prepare for this chick to not make it.
