Urgent Chickens Poop Looks Bad

Have you tried mixing and feeding some chicken feed with a lot of water and some chopped egg? How does the crop feel?
Here is an update since my last post. He is drinking with my help and I scrambled eggs added water and chick feed and he has taken a few bites, but when he moves or tries to do anything he goes into that posture of his head back and wobble (like a seizure) but not with the shaking. His eyes seem to be pen point like he is on drugs. I believe he might have been injured in his cage due to the other cockerel (his hatch mate) getting more aggressive. I did separate them, but he would cry out wanting to be with his hatch mates. I even put 2 of his girl hatch mates in with him and that didn't work. He might have hit his head on the roosting bar I have in there. Do you think it's neurological?

I think that he has symptoms of wry neck. The neck can be twisted, or the head can go down or up. Pinpoint pupils and the wry neck sound like neurological signs, and are common with Mareks and head injuries. Vitamin E and B1 are good to give for wry neck, but it woun’t help if it is Mareks.

It also looks like he has lice eggs around his face. Permethrin dust or spray are good for treating lice. If you lose him, it would be good to get him tested for possible Mareks with a necropsy by your state vet. Here is a link for contact info:

****UPDATE**** My little boy is on his way to recovery!!! I scrambled some duck egg yesterday afternoon with chick feed and the nutri-drench. I had to tilt him forward to see the food and then he started eating (not very well). I would let him rest after water/feed about every hour and by last evening he was getting up on his own and eating and drink!!! This morning when I woke up he was still a little awkward but doing everything on his on. I believe he was injured by the other rooster and on top of that was not eating. Thank you soooo much Eggcessive for always there to give me the help and support needed for these times!!!

I just noticed the lice/mites around his face.....oh my goodness how did I miss that!?! I use seven dust but not sure if that works on lice. Can you tell me if that will work? He must have gotten that when I separated him in a different area. I'm always checking for mites and never thought about lice! We have never had any problems with either till we have had all this unspeakable rain!! Any help with this would be appreciated. Now I will need to get all my birds a nice bath and kill these pest.
