If the vet cant find anything in her throat, maybe her nares are blocked. Is her water deep enough to submerge her whole bill?

Yes, its deep enough. I'm starting to think that it might be some kind of respiratory infection. I put her back in with her sisters and she's perked up slightly. Still the same breathing issues though.

I'm sure its giving her more comfort to be with the others, but aren't reparatory infections contagious?

It’s great that you cared enough to try helping her. They won’t all make it, sadly, but that’s just another reason for us to love and cherish the animals we do have. That’s why I try to spend every evening sitting in the pen with the ducks or chickens. You have time to spend with them now, and you never know when it will be over.
