URGENT: Coyote Attacked Roo, First Aid Advice Needed!

This may sound silly,and it was recommended by someone to me. To keep my roo from pecking his wounds I ended up putting a baby onesie on him obviously open at the bottom.  The tanktop onesie was much easier to work with than the one with sleeves.  It did help.

Also, if you think he might be in a lot of pain, they make topical antibiotic that has a pain reliever in it also....

Never use an antibiotic that has a pain reliever in it. Any of the the pain relievers that end in "cain" are poisonous to chickens.

I have the non-pain reliever type

He seems to be doing great! His wounds look dark and like they are continuing to heal nicely.
