Urgent! Duck acting drunk.

Have you considered avian botulism? I lost a duck to what sounds similar to what you’re describing.
The vet didn't think that was the case. But we are on an antibiotic now. So hopefully its broad enough to help clsar it up

That’s awesome! How your boy doing today?
About the same. He moved (struggling) about 2 feet today on his own, going forwards. He can push himself backwards, so in the right direction at least. But he is trying. And that gives me hope. Im just so perplexed. Because he is literally acting like an animal that got hit by something or has head trauma.

I liked this update because of your hope, but I kinda wanted to react with a sad face.

Im both happy and sad. Because you can see he is bored. I take him out x2 a day bcus I cannot do much more. And he cant do much. He would probably stay in the pool all day if I let him, but I cant keep eyes on him and Im scared he would flip over and drown. We bought him some goldfish for enrichment and he ate a few. Still gets excited for his favorite treats which is about all he is eating right now. Going to try a made up swing/hammock tomorrow to see if he will use it to maybe attempt to walk.
