URGENT-- frozen feet!

Thank you. I am handling her as little as possible, just letting her rest in her box. I did give her some warm electrolytes and nutri-drench when she first revived.
You're doing what you can for her.
Once she is drinking, offer her some food. She may not eat due to shock or pain, but if you can keep getting those warmed fluids into her that would be good for now.

I honestly don't remember.
I'm hoping the are just very cold. IF she had them covered they may not be frozen. What we think of as cold may not be that cold. But continue to treat as if they are unfortunately. Don't massage or touch them you could break that now fragile skin. You don't want open areas, infection could set in.

At some point later, if you could post a picture of her feet and legs, it would be helpful. You are taking good care of her. I always am paranoid that one of mine will get left outside when I do my headcount in the evening. Unfortunately, frostbite seems to be the most dangerous to out chickens in the months of January and February here in the US.

Took her out for more fluids, here are her feet and legs.
They look swollen, and a little dark, but they do feel warm to the touch now.
They also seem very very painful, and she doesn't want to stand yet.

I would snip off the plastic tie, just in case of too much swelling and so it doesn’t poke into the skin on the other leg. The legs don’t look too bad, but is her right leg darker in color than the left? I really hope this isn’t a bad case, and the legs heal.
Oh, good idea. I don't really need it anyways.
I think the one leg is just closer to my body and therefore in shadow. They look the same in person.
