How did you prevent them from jumping off the stool?

When they are broody and grumpy they don’t like jumping (they usually jump up and down over their pen) or swimming (stool was next to their pond) so the having to jump down is apart of their “punishment”

I tried holding my drake down when he thought I should obey him. Worked but not too well and has a big guy. What did work was picking him up. And I ignore him now and stop hand feeding. Those things might work for your girls.
