Urgent (picutre added)

OK so I had posted the question of whether or not to still turn my eggs on the incubating/hatching forum before seeing this post, and I got replies to lock down. Any Peafowl Expert opinions?

See the post that deerman wrote, I made part of it bold. It sounds like you have one of the small styrofoam incubators, you might be better off not opening it too much now.

Yes with the smaller incubators, like little giant, they take a long time to get back up to proper temp. and humdity. Those incubator i can see lock down.. Myself the cabinet incubator , no harm opening and no need to lock down, they recover super fast.

Think alot of info get passed around ,like lock down, because of the cheaper incubator. Another thing i see post infor on temp, which with still air or forced air is not the same.

Agree, depends heavily on the type of incubator you have- and in any case you should probably avoid opening it if you can see a pip. An exposed interior membrane can dry out super fast, especially so in the smaller incubators.

I was hand turning 3x a day in addition to the autoturn cradle.

Here's a pic. This is my first peachick ever hatched.
